Lack of Staff

#1
I want to first start by saying, thank you to all the staff members for their support and will to help people. But over the last couple of weeks of the server being online myself and others have noticed the lack of moderators and above. I understand people have lives and they can't be active all the time. But after 5:00 pm EST you can't find any moderators or admins. The server turns into an RDM/VDM deathmatch. I know that it's hard to trust people with the role of moderator and above but I deeply think you should give some of the helpers a chance. For instance Tyler Masters, he's constantly online and in the help rooms. I appreciate the time and effort he puts forth this community and I think he should be considered for moderator. Please consider some more staff, I would hate to see the server die due to lack of staff.

I want to add on that I have noticed this as well. I had a case that I needed to take to a helproom, but there were no staff online that can take it. It got taken care of about maybe 2 hours after it happened, and I am thankful to the mod that helped me. I will say a good strategy is to find Mods that are consist of maybe one mod from each timezone to close the gap between mods being on. After late evening Pacific Standard Time, you can find Helpers online but no Mods. Once again, thank you to all the staff that help run the server, it just would be nice to see one from each timezone. Thanks for reading!

Our standards for Moderation are incredibly high, hence why there is a shortage of Mod+ staff members. Helpers go through a lot of training before they can be promoted to Moderators. This is to ensure that all helprooms end in the best possible outcome.
There will be more Mod+ staff in the future but for now the standards must be kept.

I am in agreement with Alsing and we can understand the frustration when there is no staff online as we were all players as well. The time that you are stating (5 pm EST) is late for most of the staff as we are European or most of us anyway.

Hopefully soon Helpers will become Moderators, allowing more coverage through the night.

I'm totally understanding where you guys are coming from with the whole, training staff members, but just thought I would post something in regards to the situation. I was mostly just looking for answers and I got what I was looking for, thanks for taking the time and clarifying it.

We appreciate the concern and of course, we are working on rectifying the issues.

^^ Reporting on the forums is the best way to report someone in the event that a moderator isn't online.

How are you mod if the standards are so high?:unsure::unsure:

For now, I have been staying up all night to keep an eye on the server until another moderator+ comes on so I can switch with them, this is why you will always see me active unless ive gone to go get me bird or go shop otherwise i will be on the server keeping an eye on everything and everyone, it is not due to the lack off staff its just if they want to sleep they can sleep, the server does have staff from different time zones but they could be busy doing other things etc, it may not be due to the lack off staff or it might be, but people can't be keeping an eye on the server 24/7, especially if they are working etc.
